Shaitaan

Shaitaan (transl. Devil), which will be released in the year 2024, is an Indian supernatural horror thriller movie directed by Vikas Bahl and created by Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios. This features Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, Anngad Raaj.

Shaitaan is based on gujarati film Vash Biographical Drama Vash which also starred Bodiwala. Like many families, theirs comes under threat when their daughter becomes the victim of black magic by a stranger, and they rule out the reason behind possession and attempt to stop it.

The production of this movie was officially announced back in May 2023, with full onboard filming being completed in around 3 months in places such as Dehradun and London. This is the comeback for Jyothika in Bollywood after the film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna (1998) where she made her debut.
