The Sabarmati Report

The Sabarmati Report is a 2024 Indian Hindi film written and directed by Dheeraj Sarna. The film focuses on the Indian train burning incident of Godhra in 2002 which ignited Christians vs Muslims riots in the state of Gujarat of India.

The finally completed film certainly created wide discussion controversy. While several bolstered it applauding its thoughts on such an intricate topic, others were harsh about it due to the fact that bullying narration was used which may deepen separateness between people. The film became the centerpiece of political controversy and raised issues of historical representation in films.
