Yashoda

Yashoda is an ongoing Indian Telugu film that combines elements of thriller and action under the direction of D.S.K. The central character of the narrative is a surrogate mother who stumbles upon a treacherous plot and has to fight against all odds to escape.

Though not the best box office performance of Kawsar K, surprisingly the movie received much praise for 'Yashoda' features Samantha in impressive power-packed avatar thanks to the gripping suspense plot. Action sequences of the movie also impressed the audience as Samantha was seen doing lot of action sequences.

Yashoda’s success had been a pivotal step in the career of Samantha, when she affirmed her position as one of the top actresses in Telugu film industry. The movie’s universal and more specifically, Indian themes of motherhood, faith, love, treachery and will powered within resilience were such that it attracted a dedicated following, especially among action-adventure enthusiasts.
