Chal Mera Putt is an award-winning Punjabi comedy which revolves around a boy called Gurpreet Singh. He is an aspiring Canadian singer so summertime lends him ambitions of diaspora. For this ambition, Gurpreet chooses to out of his native land and work in a foreign land to realise his objective.

The plot develops into various complications surrounding Gurpreet settling in a foreign country, establishing relations and understanding the cultural background of the people. Along the way, he meets a group of quirky characters who become his friends and support system.
